B.ENG – ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

A Bachelor of Engineering in Electromechanical Engineering (B.Eng. Electromechanical Engineering) is an interdisciplinary program that combines principles from both electrical and mechanical engineering to prepare students for designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems that integrate electrical and mechanical components. This program covers a broad range of topics, including circuit design, robotics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, control systems, and automation.

CORE OBJECTIVES

1. Develop a Strong Foundation in Engineering Principles

  • – Fundamental Concepts: Equip students with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, fluid dynamics, and control systems.
  • – Mathematical and Physical Analysis: Teach students the application of advanced mathematics, physics, and computational methods to model, analyze, and solve engineering problems.
  • – Engineering Mechanics: Focus on the principles of statics, dynamics, and strength of materials, as well as structural analysis, which are crucial for designing electromechanical systems.

 

2. Enhance Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems Integration

  • – Electromechanical Systems: Provide a comprehensive understanding of how electrical and mechanical systems interact, focusing on areas such as motors, actuators, sensors, and control systems.
